Christmas Happenings

It was a busy, tiring day full of cat naps, doll playing, smoothie-making, Play Doh messes, bowling alley,  more sliding into a fort!  It was a crazy fun day.  Now who's going to clean up this mess?

Primary Christmas Gift

This had to be hands down my favorite Christmas gift the kids got.  Their primary president Shantil Shumway and her counselors worked hard and made these wood plaques for each of the kids.  I am sure it was a lot of work.  Before they were to open their gifts they were supposed to hold the gift and think about how you were a Child of God.  Of course I didn't know this at the time the kids were opening them.  I just saw Cohen sit down and hold the package and think.  I asked him what he was doing.  He told me and we had a nice talk with the kids.  This is what Christmas is truly about and I am so grateful for the hard work those ladies did so that I could have this moment with my kids.

Christmas!!!

Santa made it!  He sure deserved a LOOONG  nap!  I'm feeling so grateful this year for all we've been able to do and for everything we have.  I am especially grateful for my Savior for letting me be with my family on Earth and forever.
With all the kids changing their minds every other day, we sure hope Santa found the perfect thing!  I think he did!  Even Olivia's doll got a stocking full of shoes!
Mason's slide was perfect for him!  He went down it a million times and was so proud of himself!
Olivia's favorite thing was her new American Girl Doll Julie!  She was so excited!  You know that if my only daughter wants a doll...she's going to get a doll.
McCoy was awake enough to open presents but I couldn't tell if he loved any more than the other.  Such a happy cute guy.  He is a slow opener.  On the other hand, Cohen was so so fast that you couldn't look away from him or you would miss it!
Cohen ran around the room after each gift inspecting the other and back to his own pile to open another.  The video of it just makes you heart happy!
Christmas morning at Grandma's to inspect everyone's goods. Mason really wanted Coy's cars.
Jed and Candice graciously gave us all a family gift vacation this year to go as a whole family.  We absolutely love it.  They gave us a huge puzzle and when it was taking us too long they put this in front.  We were headed to Bear Lake!!  SUPER FUN!

My poor, tired, beat up, candy eating, little man.  He was quite content with his slide and eating all his candy.
By that afternoon all him and Denver wanted to do was watch Monster's University over and over.  I didn't mind one bit!
Cohen's favorite gift was Skylander's Swapforce and this Chima Lego Set.  He built it by himself and was done after a few hours.  It remained built for a few days and then ended up in the pile of Legos.  I think I cried.
Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a fun day.  With family and food all over how could it be anything but great??  Well... unless you have a sick McCoy and Mason.  Coy couldn't stay awake and his poor body got dragged through the festivities and family pictures.  He smiled best he could!  What a little trooper!!!

We had lots of cousins spend the night, watching movies and playing into the night.  My kids LOVE it.  It makes the best of times and awesome memories.
Taylor tried to get a smile out of this little guy!  He is the best Uncle, always giving my kids extra love.

Oh my heck, my beautiful nieces!  Jensen holding Baby Rome.

Tradition has it we do the Christmas story and this year was extra special because Grnadma worked really hard to make costumes.  They all were adorable.

At this point I left with my 2 babies to snuggle them into bed.  They had had enough!
This was a section of the family photos we got.  It was the only photo I got for the holiday so it worked.

Jeremy's Birthday

Jeremy is getting old. Just a fact. 29 years to the day (plus a few). His cake was ooey and goooey but ooh so good.  Even if it doesn't look like much it was gooood!  We love our Daddy soooo much!  He is the best dad, husband, friend you could ever ask for.  I think I will keep him.  Forever.

Christmas Jammies are the BOMB!

Tinsel was so nice and dropped off jammies for the kids with a Christmas movie. Gave me a nice break on a cold night. I absolutely love this pic though! All their personalities shinning right through!

Sick Kiddos

December Doctor visits were all month long with my kiddos.  I hate it when they are sick!  First Livvy, then Cohen.  Our Elf Tinsel even came down with a fever.
